After the murder of Luna, the robot society that rules the planet starts to rust and decay. Death and despair spread through the land like wildfire. Takamine Kiyomaro, a depressed don't-care-about-the-world guy, was suddenly given a little demon named Zatch Bell to take care of. Little does he know that Zatch is embroiled in an intense fight to see who is the ruler of the demon world.

After falling through a time-slip, Yusei Fudo (who has just had his powerful card stolen by a mysterious stranger) meets with Jaden Yuki and Yugi Muto, who agree to help Yusei defeat the evil Paradox, who is planning to destroy Pegasus before he can invent Duel Monsters.
