Miniseries based on the novel by Deon Meyer which tells the story of the hunt for a stolen painting by three people with different interests in it. Plan B is the story of a man with a military background, Ivan Malan, and his partner, Paul Schmidt, who rob a gangster and steal The Fire Maiden – a painting by the Dutch master Vermeer worth €30-million.

The unit specializes in the investigation of serial murders and is led by Van der Bijl, a former murder and robbery detective who gained fame for his handling of several high-profile cases. Each episode focuses on a serial killer. The main character, Colonel Piet van der Bijl, also known as Die Byl, is loosely modeled on the famous ex-detective Piet Byleveld.

A South African Afrikaans soap opera. It is set in and around the fictional private hospital, Binneland Kliniek, in Pretoria, and the storyline follows the trials, trauma and tribulations of the staff and patients of the hospital.
