The show began with two Christmas specials in 2000 and 2001. The 2000 show won the Golden Rose of Montreux award. This was followed up by a six-part series in March 2002. A second and final series consisting of seven episodes began in March 2003. It was followed by The Lenny Henry Show, which also featured sketches. The primary feature of the show is the sketches, although Henry has a brief stand-up section in each episode.

Oasis International, the Canadian distributor, also licensed the series to channels such as Cartoon Network and Canal + SA and TPS in France. It was also broadcast on Saturday mornings on Toonattik on ITV and CITV, and weekday mornings on Action Stations! on ITV4 and CITV.

The show aired weeknights at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time, usually after FSN Final Score, or later if there was a local live sporting event that ran longer than expected, depending on the region and telecast schedule.

Software Analysis or Static Program Analysis is a course of Nanjing University developed by Tian Tan and Yue Li in Spring 2020. In this course, we will learn about static program analysis, a useful technique for improving the reliability, security and performance of software, and it becomes increasingly impactful in industries nowadays. The course covers two parts: theory and practice. In theory, various materials will be introduced: from the foundations of classical data-flow and pointer analyses to some advanced topics such as security analysis and soundiness. In practice, a brand new static program analysis framework called Tai-e was designed, on top of which we'll implement a series of assignments including live variable analysis, constant propagation, dead code detection, CHA call graph construction, context-insensitive and context-sensitive pointer analyses, and taint analysis.
